Hi, I’m Heather LePenske.
My Work
I am state and nationally licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with over a decade of experience working in schools and supporting students with a wide range of communication needs in inclusive settings. My work is centered on the belief that children don’t need to be "fixed", they need robust tools to express their unique perspective and a community that knows how to listen.

Connection Over Compliance
I believe that authentic communication starts with a real relationship. I focus on truly getting to know your child for who they are and what they are interesting in doing. By meeting them on the playroom floor and joining in on the things they already love, I build a foundation of trust. When your child feels safe, seen, and understood, speech and language therapy doesn’t feel like ‘work’—it becomes a natural part of their day.
Communication on Their Own Terms
For me, child autonomy is the ultimate goal. Every child has the right to communicate their wants, thoughts, feelings, and needs. No matter what communication skill we are working on, I stay focused on what they want to say. I am here to provide the tools that allow your child to move through their world with independence, pride, and a voice that is authentically theirs.
